OLD SCHOOL ABS - In this workout you will see a lot of the familiar abdominal exercises that are tried and proven to whittle your waist and flatten your lower belly. A fusion of Pilates and more traditional core exercises such as planks, you will definitely feel the burn. The workout is timed in 40 second intervals with 10 seconds to transition to the next exercise. High reps, a fast pace and minimal breaks will keep your heart rate high and your muscles burning!
OLD SCHOOL CHEST AND BACK: Shape your chest and shoulders with this heavier weight strength training workout. Using traditional strength training exercises such as chest press, back rows and push-ups as well as some innovative compound moves you will burn out your chest and back to build lean muscle mass and definition. Slightly higher repetitions and a rapid pace will ensure that your heart rate stays high throughout this workout, allowing you to burn fat and calories. Couple this with my Old School Arms workout for a total upper body challenge and you'll be ready for strapless dresses in no time!
OLD SCHOOL ARMS: Using slightly heavier weights to sculpt every muscle in those arms you will build lean muscle mass with this comprehensive 34 minute workout. Focusing on strengthening without bulking these high repetition exercises will build strong lean muscle without adding bulk. The fast pace ensures your heart rate stays high so you get a great calorie burn whilst burning out those arms. Angle changes on all your favourite gym style exercises will define every muscle in your arms and shoulders, giving you a well balanced, streamlined physique. If the weights feel too heavy just drop them for a few reps - all you need to do is challenge yourself each time you do the workout in order to maximize the results. Make it your own and have fun with it - consistency is the key to success!
OLD SCHOOL LOWER: In this workout you will see a lot of the familiar lower body exercises that are tried and proven to sculpt and tighten your hips, butt and thighs. A fusion of traditional weight training exercises such as squats and lunges with some pilates calisthenics style floor work to finish off will definitely get your muscles burning. The workout is timed in 50 second intervals with 10 seconds to transition to the next exercise. High reps, a fast pace and minimal breaks will keep your heart rate high and calories burning! Team it with one of my core and/or upper workouts for a full body challenge!

What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
