Welcome to my 100 Rep Challenge Series. You will do 100 reps per exercise for a total of 10 exercises to give you a 1000 rep workout! So that there is no boredom factor there will be variations for each exercise. The pace is fast to keep the heart rate up and there is little to no break between sets.

All you will need is some very light hand weights (1-3lb or 500grams-1.5kg) and an exercise mat. These workouts take up hardly any room so you can do them anywhere even on holidays! And best of all, they are joint friendly so any age group or fitness level can do them. So get your gear on and come train with me!


THE 5 WORKOUTS ARE:

Bums + Tums (21 mins): Tighten and sculpt your buns and abs with this efficient mat workout.

Lower Body Barre (30 mins): Lengthen + define your lower body with traditional barre exercises!

Squat + Kick (24 mins): Blast fat and chisel your legs with this high energy combination.

Biceps + Triceps (19 mins): Tone the front and back of your arms with light weights and bodyweight exercises.

Cardio Core Box (23 mins): Blast away that muffin top with fast paced boxing moves and highly effective mat exercises.

I absolutely love Linda's DVD's-I am a new fan of hers as I first heard about her workouts from another Amazon reviewer Leanne.I love how the Barlates DVD's are split into segments and a lot of times I'll add a segment on to a longer workout.I love the upper body segment the most-I never knew using light weights could be so challenging as well as give me better tone and definition then when I was lifting heavy weights.I mix the Barlates segments in with the Dream Body DVD's,Tonique or Tracy Anderson and after using at home DVD's for years,I am in the best shape ever and turn 50 this month.I sometimes have a hard time motivating myself to do a strenuous DVD-Linda's workouts are challenging yet fun to do/I feel like I'm working out with a friend-she is so encouraging and low key-she is very fit but seems real-I'm too old to be trying to mold my body into something unattainable-I want to stay fit and healthy in order to feel confident,not try to look ripped!I bought my very first Barlates dvd over the Summer but had to return it,not because I didn't like it,but because my rescue pup was petrified of the timer used on the DVD.When Linda heard of my strange problem from the Woman I purchased the dvd from she reached out to me and let me know which of her workouts didn't use the timer-I now own all of those!!I love how she reached out to me and that means so much!I can now use her DVDs without giving my dog a panic attack!!I am petite and other workouts used to bulk me in the lower body.Mixing Barlates with Dream Body and Tonique has toned my lower half like never before.I can wear my teenage daughters skinny jeans and I'm 49 years old!!Thanks Linda!!

What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
