Welcome to the Traditional Mat series. You will target all your problem areas with traditional mat exercises that are tried and proven to give results. You will add extra equipment to some of the exercises to increase the burn even more. The workouts are easy to follow, but tough to do. They require very little space and are highly effective, giving maximum results in minimum time.

In Traditional Mat Glutes you will perform 5 glute bridge exercises with your feet elevated on the step - regular raises, knee in and out raises, staggered raises and tuck pulses, then 5 exercises on each side in table top position - angled glute raises, hydrants, half moons, straight leg hamstring curls and straight leg pulses, and finally 5 more glute bridge exercises this time with your upper back on the step - regular raises, feet together raises, cross leg raises and toe to flat foot pulses. What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor!
