Shape your inner thighs and chisel your abs with this sculpting fit ball workout. Squeeze, raise and crunch those problem areas into oblivion! 23 minutes of targeted tummy and thigh work will leave your legs quivering and your abs burning. Using the fit ball will engage multiple muscle fibres at one time giving you maximum results in minimum time. Supporting muscles in your arms, back and glutes will also be activated to increase the overall calorie burn. You will definitely be sore the next day - I guarantee it!

An expanded version of the Barre Ball Blast inner thigh and ab chapter with lots of inner thigh squeezing with the ball, but this workout has a lot of different exercises (Linda is really innovative with the stability ball!) including side laying inner thigh lifting (using the ball as resistance), elbow plank exercises with the arms balanced on the ball, squeezing the ball while in plank pose with hands on the ground (this is tough!), and some roll outs on the ball.  And a nice stretch at the end.  Linda’s workouts always have a brief warm up and stretch which I really enjoy (I use a lot of exercise video instructors and a lot of them have cut out the warm up and stretch so they can advertise a short workout time!)  Like all of Linda’s productions, there is a high production quality and nice background music to keep you going.  ~ Emily Bianco


What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor!
