Welcome to the Shape Up Slide Sculpt Series. These 4 workouts are designed burn lots of calories and tone your muscles with fun cardio segments and tough sculpting exercises. You will use various equipment as well as just your body weight to chisel and define your entire body. These are total body workouts that will get a lot done in minimum time!
Shape Up Barre Box is a total body workout with cardio and ballet barre sculpting exercises. You will start with 5 slower paced boxing style exercises to warm up the body and familiarize you with the moves. You will then alternate between 5 lower body ball exercises, then the same 5 cardio exercises, 5 resistance loop lower body exercises, back to the cardio, 5 light weight arms exercises, back to the cardio, 5 resistance loop upper body exercises, back to the cardio, 5 pilates ball abs exercises, one last round of cardio and finally 5 resistance loop abs exercises. You will be rewarded with a long stretch to lengthen the muscles to finish.
What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
