Welcome to the Lockdown Madness series. This is an advanced series that will challenge your strength, endurance, coordination, balance and flexibility. There is a large variety of different styles and all my favorite equipment to increase the intensity and shock your body into giving you the results you are after. You will strengthen and define all those problem areas with these unique routines.

In Lockdown Madness Fusion you will start in a seated straddle position with oblique twists and crunches to heat up the body. Then move into a kneeling tucked position with more dynamic arm movements, next bring one leg forward into a lunge and continue with reaches, twists and shoulder circles. Next a plank, down dog series with knee hovers and ankle crosses. Then a side kneeling plank with leg extensions, raises, front to back kicks and knee rotations. Next a child's pose push up and a triceps hold tuck series. Then a side lunge up and down combination with various hinged and releve variations. Then a roll back to side plank push up combo and a reverse table top series with knee tick tocks, crunches and straight leg oblique crunches. Then an abs series in a seated, c-curve position with leg pushes up and down and side and in. A stretch interlude before the final push - a tough Asian squat to standing combo and finally a lengthening stretch.

What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
