Welcome to the Double Burn Series, a set of workouts that will challenge your body from every angle. You will use a double set principle where you perform 2 different intensity levels of one exercises to fully fatigue the muscle. Each workout will use various pieces of equipment as well as your body weight to increase the challenge. You will work from the hardest to the easiest level with lots of variations to keep thing interesting. Each workout is a total body workout with warm up and stretch at the end.

In Double Burn Compound you will starts with some total body warm up exercises, such as squats and lunges with larger range upper body moves. You will then start with 2 lower body segments - the first one a curtsy lunge to squat combo elevating on a step and the second a side lunge to oblique twist combo. Then move to 2 upper body segments - the first one a plank triceps extension and the second a back lunge with biceps curls series using the step to elevate. Finally hit the core with elevated lower body extensions and scissors and a weighted diamond oblique twist series. Finish with a lengthening stretch.

What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
