Welcome to the Traditional Barre series. You will target all your problem areas with traditional barre exercises that are tried and proven to give results. There are workouts for all the major muscle groups with some cardio factor to torch calories and a big burn! They require very little space and are highly effective, giving maximum results in minimum time.

In Traditional Barre Squats and Tucks you will start with large range of motion flowing movements such as plie squats with inner thigh drag ins to front leg raises. Then move to a wide plie series with different rep patters, knee push backs, heel raises, front and side to sides tucks. Another larger range of motion plie squat to lunge combo to loosen everything up. Then a turn out series with similar exercises to the wide plie series and a leg extension and raise combo. Next a parallel series with hip circles, tucks and pulses. A grande plie to forward hinge combo and finally a staggered pulse tuck combination with one leg in front of the other in turn out. Finish with some more large range of motion moves to get rid of the lactic acid! There is a lot of balance work in this one, which will engage your core and you will also feel a great cardio factor.

What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
