This DVD consists of 5 x 10 minute barre fusion HIIT workouts that can be done all together for a 60 minute total body blaster or mix and matched to suit any schedule.
After a warm up you will use intervals of 50 seconds of work with 10 seconds of rest to torch calories and sculpt long lean muscle. With a unique combination of new exercises, time will fly with these fun and efficient routines. There's something for everyone with minimal equipment required. Finish up with a relaxing stretch to lengthen all the muscles you just worked.
THE 3 WORKOUTS ARE:
Standing Barre (10 mins): Build strong, defined arms with standing compound exercises using light weight and high repetitions.
Ballet Box (10 mins): Get out of breath with some fun kick boxing combinations with a ballet flair.
Barre Bell HIIT (10 mins): Build a strong, defined body with traditional kettlebell exercises and light weight, high repetition barre exercises.
Cardio Interval Tone (10 mins): Alternate cardio intensive power moves with dynamic toning to chisel your physique!
Total Body Mat (10 mins): Hit the mat to work all your trouble zones using only your bodyweight!

I did all sections of this video to have almost an hour workout. I felt great after and nicely worked-out. This video will be getting a lot of use. I love the 50 seconds on and 10 second off format. I love all of Linda's workouts.. but she keeps getting better and better!
What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
