Welcome to the BLOOD SUGAR WALK series! These workouts are perfect to help you use up excess glucose in your bloodstream. They are designed to be medium intensity so that you can do them even after a meal. They are a gentle, yet effective way to lower blood sugar. There’s plenty of variety and different lengths, so you can fit them into any schedule.

THE SET INCLUDES:

Rebounder 2700 steps (21 min): a medium intensity, mini trampoline workout with no equipment. There are 45 seconds per exercises with lots of variety. It will spike your heart rate a little, but isn't super intense, so it's perfect for after a heavy meal if you want to lower blood sugar.

Seated Walk 3000 steps (28 min): a 3000 step equivalent walk that will get your heart rate up and help you burn blood sugar without spiking Cortisol. It's a fun, cardio workout that is easy to follow and can be modified for all fitness levels.

Cardio Band 1000 steps (10 min): a medium intensity, all standing, no-repeat workout. It is fun and easy-to-follow with no complicated steps. Use a loop band to engage your thighs and glutes while you walk.

Walk 2500 steps (20 min): a medium intensity, all standing, no equipment workout. It is fun and easy-to-follow with no complicated steps. It will spike your heart rate a little, but isn't super intense, so it's perfect for after a heavy meal.

Kick Box 2800 steps (20 min): a fun, 20 min boxing step workout that is a great way to burn off some blood sugar! It uses 40 second intervals of work with 10 seconds of rest between rounds. The exercises are easy to follow and effective at burning calories and getting your heart rate up. It's a super fun routine with a lot of variety and the optional hand weights really give you a great shoulder burn!

Cardio Sculpt 2300 steps (23 min): a standing Pilates cardio sculpt workout that works your muscles with light weights and body weight exercises, whilst increasing your heart rate with cardio exercises. It’s a gentle workout with some balance challenge aspects to engage your core and mind!

What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts can be used stand alone or can be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts.
