Welcome to the GARDEN SERIES. These workouts are designed to lengthen and strengthen the muscles all at the same time so you will create a longer, leaner physique. These are Pilates fusion style workouts all done on the mat so very little space is required! They are tougher than they look so be prepared to feel the burn and see the changes! Come workout out in my garden with me!
THE WORKOUTS ARE:
Upper Body (20 mins): Burn out and define those arms with high repetition, light weight exercises guaranteed to tone all your trouble spots. You will alternate between a light weights exercise and a bodyweight push-up variation.
Abs Mat (12 mins): Whittle your waistline into shape with this Pilates Barre Abs workout. Using classic positions like the C-sit you will twist and crunch your lower belly pooch into oblivion!
Back of Leg (23 mins): A Barre Pilates fusion workout targeting the glutes, hips and hamstrings with standing and kneeling exercises. Holding your body in angled positions engages more muscle groups, maximising your result in minimum time!
Inner Thighs (15 mins): Time to work those inner thighs with this standing barre inspired routine. Most of the exercises are performed in plie position so you will get some bonus glute and front of thigh work.
Lunges and raises (18 mins): A Barre Pilates fusion workout targeting the front of thighs and hips with standing and kneeling exercises. You will do a combination of lunge variations with leg raises that target the same muscle groups.
Inner Thighs (18 mins): This workout uses traditional inner thigh mat exercises to burn out those thighs like never before. You will shake and burn those pesky inner thighs into submission to get the lean dancer's of your dreams.
Outer Thighs (17 mins): Sculpt that dancers dent in the side of your glutes and chisel slim, streamlined thighs with these traditional pilates barre fusion exercises. The L position will target your outer hips and thighs like nothing else!
Standing Abs Balance (20 mins): Challenge your balance and improve your posture with not a single sit-up in sight! These standing abdominal exercises will tighten your tummy, streamline that muffin top and burn unwanted body fat.

The scenery in these Garden workouts makes me feel so calm and I try to fit portions of them in on busy mornings to lower my stress before work.Barlates is a type of workout style that sneaks up on you-it looks low key but the toning is incredible and I feel a serious burn in my muscles,to the point of shaking.At age 50 I can no longer do pounding cardio and had gotten bored with heavy lifting,which tended to bulk me-these are feel good workouts!!

The garden series is awesome! Not only are the workouts so unique, it's lovely to workout to her scenery. These workouts are great lengths and I love to combine them together. If you want to gain strength and definition then I highly recommend.

What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
