Welcome to the Triple Burn Series, a set of 4 workouts that will challenge your body from every angle. You will use a triple set principle where you perform 3 different intensity levels of one exercises to fully fatigue the muscle. Each workout will use various pieces of equipment as well as your body weight to increase the challenge. You will work from the hardest to the easiest level with lots of variations to keep thing interesting. Each workout is a total body workout with warm up and stretch at the end.
In Triple Burn Shape you will starts with some low impact cardio moves to heat the entire body, then move to lower body with an elevated squat sequence with heels elevated on small weights to really get into those quads and a single leg ball roll out with loop and weights. Then you will move on to upper body with a biceps curl, shoulder press and triceps extension combo and a back extension sequence using the ball to elevate and a tough abs exercise which will work your upper and lower abs as well as the obliques. There is a lengthening stretch at the end.
What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
