Welcome to my HOLIDAY EXPRESS Series. These short, feel good workouts are designed to fit into the busy holiday period. Do one to start your day off right, or string a few together for a longer session. Everyone has 10 to 20 minutes to fit a workout in, you’ll feel so much better for it!
THE SET INCLUDES:
Body Weight Sculpt (16 min): A unique no equipment mobility sculpt workout that will leave you feeling stretched and strengthened. Lots of dynamic stretches coupled with compound exercises to engage both mind and muscles.
Cardio Crush (10 min): This one will boost your mood and burn some festive food calories in just 10 minutes! A no repeat, no equipment, easy-to-follow cardio routine that will get your heart rate up and your blood pumping!
Cardio Band (20 min): Grab a Pilates band and get ready to have a fun, sweat session with lots of variety. The 40 second intervals will get your heart rate up whilst sculpting lean arms with the band.
Mobility Sculpt (16 min): A challenging yet deliciously flowing stretch sculpt routine which is mostly mat. Lots of combination moves that flow from one into the other with some deeper dynamic stretching to really leave you feeling long and limber.
Mobility Strength (16 min): Wake up your body with a more advanced mobility workout using dumbbells to add a strength component. Start with body weight stretch sculpting to prepare the body for the weights and then add the dumbbells to strengthen your muscles whilst carefully adding rotational moves for further mobility training.
Mobility Dumbbell (17 min): Work your mind and your muscles with this mobility sculpting routine. Some fun combinations in this one with a lot of dynamic stretching and a great burn too!
What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
