The Full Body HIIT Series is 3 full length interval workouts that you can do individually or mix and match for extra challenge. They are a combination of cardio, barre and weights exercises that will build lean muscle and help you shed unwanted body fat.
Using the 50 seconds of work with 10 seconds of rest intervals you will burn maximum fat and calories and boost your metabolism for the whole day!
THE WORKOUTS ARE:
Full Body Weights Express (21 mins): This is a weights workout that uses compound moves to maximize your results. The fast pace and high reps will keep your heart rate up so that you will be burning lots of calories even though it is predominantly a strength training routine.
Full Body Barre Express (20 mins): Get ready to sculpt your body with all your favourite barre exercises in this high energy total body workout. You will be alternating between cardio moves and toning moves, all of which use the entire body for maximum results.
Full Body Ballet Box Express (20 mins): A combination of barre style sculpting and fun, high energy kickboxing moves, this workout will maximize your results in minimum time. Increase or decrease your weights to suit your fitness level.
About the instructor: Hi, I'm Linda - creator of Barlates Body Blitz. I have worked in the diet and fitness industry as an instructor and personal trainer for most of my career and have created close to 200 workout videos to bring my passion for exercise to you! This is an awesome workout, I did the 3 workouts and I burned close to 500 calories and I felt my muscle really worked out and the time run really fast.
Short And Sweet!
I've just finished doing all of the workouts this week. I'm using them as add-ons to Callanetics Countdown. Barlates is the perfect addition to Callanetics.
Upon reviewing the individual workouts I thought "this looks easy, not too bad". Wrong! While they are doable, they are definitely more demanding than they look. With each one I felt thoroughly worked out. Although I must admit that Express Weights is my favorite. But they are all good! The workouts also provide cardio which I find to be important. All you'll need is a mat and some hand weights. And for the Barre Express a chair or something to hold on to. These are excellent, time efficient and effective workouts. I highly recommend.

What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
