Welcome to the Traditional Barre series. You will target all your problem areas with traditional barre exercises that are tried and proven to give results. There are workouts for all the major muscle groups with some cardio factor to torch calories and a big burn! They require very little space and are highly effective, giving maximum results in minimum time.
In Traditional Barre Back Body you will start with start with some large range of motion squat to back leg raise combinations to heat up the body. Then move to a tough lunge series with your foot planted against a wall for extra resistance. You will perform lunge pulses, lunge push offs, and tucks, first on one side then on the other. Next move to upper body with a triceps dip series using the wall for resistance and then a triceps push-up series in a plank position against the wall. You will then move to the floor for a plank glute raise series and put on the loop for a tough laying glute section with pulses, extensions and isolation moves for the upper and lower body. This segment really works your lower back too.
What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
